Panini are what we do, but we're really about the people we do it for.
Hot Table — The What
and the How
What we do is simple (delicious and fresh panini with knock-your-socks-off service). How we do it is a little more complicated. To deliver a great product, we start with great people. And great people come from great communities, which means taking an interest in where we live and work as responsible citizens. And that’s really where it starts for us — supporting our communities and our staff with a culture of service and treating all just as we would want to be treated. We believe that approach leads to the best possible product for the customers we love!
HOW WE STARTED
Hot Table was founded in 2007 by brothers John and Chris DeVoie and restauranteur Don Watroba in their hometown of Springfield, Massachusetts. Inspired by small eatery’s in Italy called Tavola Calda, literally “Hot Table” in English, their vison for Hot Table was simple, delicious pressed sandwiches, made to order, and served in a way that makes customers feel cared for and valued, by employees that feel cared for and valued.
OUR PEOPLE SHARE THEIR STORIES…
A day of rest
Family and faith are important to us. That’s why we made the decision to close on Sunday, to give our staff a day of rest that they can spend with family and friends — and focus on what matters most in life. Learn more about the values that drive our company culture.
Giving back to our communities has been a guiding principle since we first opened our doors in 2007. From charities to church groups, sports teams to nonprofits, we’d love to support you. Learn how we can help your organization plan a Fundraising Day at Hot Table.
As a family-owned business, we are less interested in having “employees” than we are in helping people we care about join a company they love and do work they find fulfilling. To that end, we truly enjoy helping members of the Hot Table team cultivate their best professional self and even discover a career path. In fact, all of Hot Table’s store and regional managers started in other roles, and have found growth and a career with us. Whether food is your passion or management is your aspiration, check out our list of currently available positions below and fill out an online application today. Whether you’re looking for a flexible job through college, or ready to make a career move, we want to hear from you.
